Imaginative Cinema Society Presents Author Amy Davis
Author Amy Davis will be making a personal appearance at the Kenwood Presbyterian Church hall on Saturday, September 28th at 7:00 PM. She'll be giving a talk about her recently released book "Flickering Treasures" about Baltimore's long-lost movie palaces, and signing copies of her book afterwards.
The event is sponsored by the Imaginative Cinema Society, a local organization of science fiction, fantasy, and horror movie & TV fans who gather once a month to view and discuss classic (and not so classic) genre entertainment.
The church hall is at 4601 Fullerton Avenue in Baltimore City. (Simply take the Bel Air Road-South exit off the Baltimore Beltway, go down about a half a mile, make a left on to Fullerton Avenue, follow for about a half-mile. The church itself will be on the right, but visitors need to go around to the rear of the church to get to the ample parking lot attached).
Attendance to the talk/book signing is free (but donations for the ICS will be gladly accepted), and a limited number of copies of "Flickering Treasures" will be made available for sale at the event. Further information on the event and the club itself can be found at www.icsfilm.net.
