Classical Music 4 People w/Short Attention Spans!

Do you love classical music, but can't sit through a whole 90-minute symphony from start to finish? This show is for you.

WTMD and Classical Revolution Baltimore are partnering to present Classical Music for People With Short Attention Spans: The Sequel. It's the "Cliffs Notes" of classical music -- all of the parts you know and love in 5 minutes or less each.

This show will take a look at how composers have incorporated different types of folk and popular music into classical pieces from the 1700's through present day- featuring unexpected, cross-genre collaborations from the Baltimore music scene like beat-boxer Shodekeh Talifero, and more.

This show will be broadcast live on air, with a studio audience. Featured performers include the Baltimore vocal artist Shodekeh and more TBA!

Classical Revolution Baltimore is a collective of musicians that perform chamber music in bars, clubs and public places to encourage more people to listen to classical music.  Since their inception in 2011, Classical Revolution Baltimore has performed for thousands of people, many of them new classical music listeners and has organized over 85 performances including collaborations with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, The Reginald F. Lewis Museum, The Baltimore Boom Bap Society, Shodekeh and Eze Jackson.  Their work has been featured in the Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Magazine, City Paper and TEDxMidAtlantic.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show runs from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 1 Olympic Place in Towson. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. All ages are welcome!
